Sample Room Picker/Packer

Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Packers to join our team in a fast-paced production environment. As a Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and teamwork to meet production goals.

Duties

• Pack finished products into appropriate containers for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Inspect products for defects or damages before packing to maintain high-quality output.
• Label packages correctly according to company guidelines and customer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
• Report any issues or discrepancies in product quality or packaging to supervisors promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while handling materials and equipment.

Requirements

• 1-2 years’ experience in methods and practices used in receiving, storing, and maintenance of inventory.
• Excel & AS400 experience a plus
• Perform math computations
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Computer skills, attention to detail and ability to operate diverse types of machinery and office equipment including printer, copier, scanner, and calculator
• Able to climb ladders for put away and inventory retrieval
• Able to lift up to 60lbs
