Job Description
Essential Accountabilities
- Increase process efficiencies by accurately pulling boxed stock items from a pull list, putting orders together on a skid in a timely fashion, and maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Build team atmosphere by offering assistance, when able, to fellow coworkers
- Increase revenue by properly tracking stock/inventory moving into the shipping area
- Improve process efficiencies by accurately pulling, and palletizing cartons and shrink-wrapping orders, managing stock and sending out orders on schedule.
- Foster a positive work environment by maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Other duties and assignments as required.
Job Requirements
Education/Certifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Forklift License preferred
Experience:
- 1-2 years relative experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Intrapersonal Skills - Self-motivated and able to identify, examine, and resolve issues independently from others. Hold a strong regard for guidelines, procedures and integrity.
- Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, and maintenance. Tools include: tape gun, utility knife, shrink wrap machine, scale, pallet jack, forklift, and ladder
- Verbal & Written Communication Skills – This position requires basic skills (Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.)
- Math Skills – This position requires basic skills (add, subtract, etc.)
