Mold Maker
Job Description
The mold shop is responsible for manufacturing and maintenance of molds. The overall objective of this position is to ensure molds are ready, repaired/modified for production.
Essential Accountabilities
· Support process efficiencies by accurately building new productions molds, repairs and modifying existing molds. Also installing mold cleats and making splashes.
· Reduce costs by maintaining an accurate monthly inventory for mold shop and ensuring safety procedures are followed to standard
· Foster an efficient and positive work environment by maintaining a clean and organized work space and ensuring supplies are stocked.
· Other duties and assignments as required
Job Requirements
· 1-2 years of relevant experience
· High School Diploma/GED
· Forklift license preferred
Physical Requirement:
Must have ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. Employee must be at to sit, climb or balance, hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, stand, walk, talk, and reach with hands and arms.
Working Conditions: Duties performed in a manufacturing plant environment: can be high heat, high humidity, exposure to electrical shock and mechanical parts, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals with fumes and/or airborne particles.
Hours: Shifts vary and last 8 hours. Overtime required as needed.

· Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Tools include: table saw, band saw, circular saw, jig saw, steel cutter, drill press, welder, wrenches, hammers, screw drivers, pliers, putty knives, engraving machine, power drill, and welding.
· Verbal & Written Communication Skills – This position requires basic skills (Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.)
