Material Handler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials within the warehouse or distribution center. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to operate heavy equipment.
**Responsibilities:**
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate heavy equipment such as clamp trucks, cherry pickers, and other machinery
- Perform order picking and packing duties according to company standards
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers
- Ability to inspect all products of quality, quanity, and color (quality control)
- Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA regulations while handling materials
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy within the warehouse
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure smooth operations
Job Requirements
Requirments:
- Prior experience in material handling or a similar role preferred
- Proficiency in operating a pallett jack
- Familiarity with distribution center operations and warehouse procedures
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Knowledge of OSHA guidelines for safe material handling practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
- Must be able to work in a high heat setting

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
