Maintenance Electrician - 1st shift - $30.00 - $35.00/hr

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in facilities maintenance. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues, ensuring that all equipment and systems operate efficiently. Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
• Interpret schematics and technical drawings to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
• Fabricate parts as needed to support maintenance operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall efficiency of maintenance operations.
• Lead small teams during specific projects or repairs, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of industrial maintenance experience required
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and technical documentation.
• Experience with PLC and motor controls preferred
• Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems, including logic controllers.
• Ability to fabricate components as necessary for repairs or improvements.
• Leadership skills to guide team members during projects or when addressing complex issues.
• Previous experience in facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory.
