Machine Shop Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Shop Manager to oversee out factory's daily operations and ensure the highest level of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing. Preferably  in a factory setting, and possess strong leadership and management skills. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our machining, saw and maintenance teams. Continuous improvement of processes for efficiency and developing a relationship with our customers is a must!

Duties include but not limited to:

• Leadership of the machine shop team
• Machine maintenance and daily scheduling. Coordination of materials and labor
• Recommendations on capital spending to improve capacity and quality
• Coordination of efforts between the production, planning and engineering teams
• Planning and management of all repair and installation activities
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision
• This is a hands-on role. Must be willing to work out on the machines.
• Willing to work weekends as needed

Education/Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Engineering or Business
• Must have decisive leadership & problem solving skills
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft office suite
• Must have good organization skills, attention to detail, and a high sense of urgency
• Must be a US Citizen and speak English
• Must be local
